Below are Sabelhaus West Commercial Division example projects. Sabelhaus West is proud to be a team player, colloberating with general contractor and the customer to provide the highest standards of service.

Harrison Hospital

Sabelhaus West is very proud to have worked with Tim Ryan Construction on the Harrison Hospital in Port Orchard Washington.  The hospital presented many unique challenges that we at Sabelhaus West welcomed with open arms.  Sabelhaus used its large pool of painters to help TRC construct this 11,000 square foot hospital in only 1 year.  Our painters had to skillfully work around 3.5 million dollar state-of-the-art radiation equipment.  The unique color and design of the hospital also presented special challenges that were met with impressive results.  If our talented painters can do this for Port Orchard what can we do for you?

Bainbridge Island HS 200 building

Mahlum Architect’s 70,000sf addition to Bainbridge Island High School was probably the largest public installation in island history.  Leo Finnegan Construction completed this project on time with the help of Sabelhaus West’s painters.  The outlaying theme of this project was to accentuate natural light with environmentally friendly products.  It was a total success with the use of Sherwin William’s Harmony low VOC paint on the walls and other water born products in places where thinner based products would have previously been used.  Sabelhaus West has a commitment to being at the forefront of environmentally friendly painting.

Olympic College

When the stain on the exterior of Olympic College began to show signs of wear the only real solution was to completely strip it to bare wood and re-finish.  Sabelhaus West used an environmentally friendly stripper to remove every last bit of stain.  We then applied a top of the line product with some good old fashion craftsmanship.  The results are stunning.

Suquamish Longhouse

When the Suquamish Tribe enlisted Seattle’s Mithun Architects to design a building for its 12,000sf waterfront longhouse, Sabelhaus West was of course enlisted to apply the coatings.  This project uses materials that have been harvested or manufactured within 500 miles of the site, has a strict indoor air quality management plan and more than 90% of the construction waste is being recycled.  A cedar toned fungi resistant stain has been applied to both sides of all the exterior wood.  Low VOC primer and paint has been used on the interior drywall and low VOC stain has been used and all the interior wood.  Once again Sabelhaus West shows their commitment to being a leader in environmentally friendly painting.

Station 51 – Silverdale

We had the opportunity to bid a roof maintenance job for the local fire district to repair a leaking roof. After viewing what needed to be done, we proposed restoring the whole roof.  Repairing the roof was a short term temporary fix, restoring had some big benefits. One, they have a shorter expense over time then just doing repairs. Two, it allows us to give a 10 year unconditional warranty. The best was by coating with a brilliant white product, it has a 85%+ reflectivity that exceeds Energy Star® requirements. This provides for better energy efficiency inside the building and decreases the energy cost for heating and cooling to the customer.

We then have to have a product warranty inspector inspect our work before we are able to issue a warranty to the customer. One look and all he could say was “Our commitment to quality is beyond anything he’s seen before”. Even though it is a roof that no one sees, we still have pride in how the finished product looks.
